Sun Salutations

Workshop Length: 2 - 3 hours

Learn the movements that make the classic Sun Salutations a graceful, strong yoga practice in themselves. Students will learn multiple variations of poses as well as vinyasas (sequencing of poses) that can be used as a yoga warm-up, or as an entire yoga workout in both yoga-only and fitness-style classes. Breathing, execution, verbal and hand-on cueing, and modifications will be taught. Learn how to teach Sun Salutations in a classic format as well as how to use your own experiences and creativity in developing your own.
